The Hillmore supper club just south of ashland was the location for a district 27-c2, 
region 3 new member orientation held October 27th. district governor harry helwig  called for meetings to be held in each of the three districts on the same day. the purpose was to get any new member to lionism in the last 18 months to gather to learn about the international, state, district, and local club organizations. 
the meeting was well attended with 27 lions and a couple of guests. comments from participants indicated the meeting was worthwhile and should happen again.
