Eye Bank Transport

This project came to us from a need by the Ashland County Aging Unit. A support meeting for visually impaired individuals was established at the senior center in Ashland. The group of elderly people meet once per month. The need came from persons living outside the city limits of Ashland that needed a ride to these meetings. The Ashland Lions members pick up these individuals that live in Ashland and Bayfield County, drive them to the meeting and home again after the meeting.   The appreciation by the individual and Aging unit has been great.
